The City of Madison held its annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 14. Various floats, walking groups, vintage cars, horses, dogs, dancers, and the award-winning Morgan County High School Band traveled into town on East Avenue, Hancock Street, and made a right turn onto Jefferson Street toward Town Park.
After the parade, the annual Caroling by Candlelight celebration was held in Town Park, followed by a free concert by The Missile Toes.
Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the Elves were also present to hear Christmas wishes. The children had the opportunity to sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and some left special letters for speedy delivery to the North Pole.
