Located on the Richland Creek side of Lake Oconee, The Boathouse features a rustic and inviting restaurant and banquet room.
The restaurant is open to the public Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering walk-up counter service for food and drinks, including beer, wine, mixed drinks, and virgin cocktails by the glass, plus packs of sodas and beer for takeout.
The Boathouse's featured dishes include smash burgers, peel-and-eat shrimp, a fish Reuben sandwich, pulled pork nachos, and key lime pie.

On many Saturdays, The Boathouse will offer live entertainment, too, featuring acoustic guitarists to some of Lake Country’s favorite bands.
