There were many storylines surrounding Tyrin Lawrence on Saturday, March 8, as Georgia hosted Vanderbilt in the regular season finale.The former Morgan County standout played his last game for the Bulldogs at Stegeman Coliseum.

‘Dog to Dawg: Lawrence ready to make a difference in Athens

Tyrin Lawrence entered the transfer portal in March after four years at Vanderbilt and is now close to home.Lawrence, a former standout guard at Morgan County High School and for the Commodores, is now a graduate transfer at Georgia.

Former Morgan County and Vanderbilt standout basketball player Tyrin Lawrence announced his plans to transfer to Georgia on Friday.A seasoned guard, Lawrence has been a key player at Vanderbilt for the past four seasons.

Two former Bulldogs clash in SEC hoops matchup

The matchup between Georgia and Vanderbilt at Stegeman Coliseum this past Saturday was a reunion for two former Morgan County boys’ basketball players. Jailyn Ingram and Tyrin Lawrence faced off against each for the first time in their college career.
