Indians end LOA’s season in Elite Eight

After coming within inches of forcing a different outcome in both games, the Lake Oconee Academy baseball team saw its season come to an end May 6, as Charlton County completed a two-game sweep in the GHSA Class A Division II Elite Eight.

Titans sweep Treutlen to advance to Elite Eight

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball team is playing some of its best baseball at the right time.The Titans punched their ticket to the GHSA Class A Division I Elite Eight with a two-game sweep of Treutlen, showcasing both explosive offense and reliable pitching.

Titans sweep Early County to advance

During the final week of the regular season, Lake Oconee Academy didn’t look like a No. 1 seed, as four straight losses heading into the postseason left a sour taste in the team’s mouth. But by Friday, that feeling had been replaced with a fresh start.

Titans hope tough stretch pays off entering playoffs

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball didn’t get the results it wanted last week, but head coach Mark Miller believes it might have been exactly what his team needed.The Titans (16-7) dropped four straight non-region games in five days — a stretch Miller called “heck week” — against strong competition.

LOA secures region crown with sweep of Tigers

Lake Oconee Academy’s baseball team capped off another dominant region run in dramatic fashion, sweeping Washington-Wilkes in a three-game series to secure its third consecutive region championship.

Titans surge into region title push

The Lake Oconee Academy baseball team is hitting its stride just as region play enters the final stretch.The Titans entered the week ranked No. 2 in Class A Division II, riding an eight-game winning streak with a 13-3 overall record and an 8-1 mark in region play.

New year, same expectations for LOA baseball
