Morgan County soccer players earn GACA All-State honors

Following the end of the 2025 season, Morgan County’s soccer teams had several players earn postseason recognition.The school had seven representatives combined named to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s All-State teams.Four Lady Dogs earned the postseason honor.

Lady Dogs fall in Final Four of state playoffs

Morgan County’s historic postseason run concluded last week in the Final Four in Savannah.The No. 3 seed Savannah Arts Academy defeated the No. 7 Lady Dogs 3-2 to advance to the Class AA state title game.

Lady Dogs make history, reach Final Four

The Morgan County girls soccer team made history on Monday, May 5, with their 2-1 win over Columbus.The win advanced them to their first playoff semifinal appearance in the program’s history.Morgan County head coach Anne Stamps was proud of her girls’ fight against a solid Lady Blue Devil squad.

Morgan soccer splits with Pike County

Morgan County’s soccer teams split with Pike County on Friday, April 4, on the road in the final region games for both teams.The Dogs (11-2, 9-1) defeated the Pirates (7-5, 6-4) in a close 1-0 decision to secure the season sweep.

Veterans lead Lady Dogs on the pitch
