Titans get wake-up call in scrimmage

Lake Oconee Academy got one final test before the regular season, and the Titans came away with plenty to work on.LOA traveled to Social Circle on Aug. 14 for its annual preseason scrimmage, combining its varsity and JV results for a 38-7 loss.

LOA uses three-team scrimmage to prepare for season

Lake Oconee Academy got an early taste of what Friday nights will look like this fall when the Titans hosted Bethlehem Christian and The Walker School for a three-team scrimmage at Titan Stadium.

Titans ready for preseason test

Lake Oconee Academy football is ready to put its summer work to the test.After months of workouts, conditioning and preparation, the Titans wrapped up their summer practice schedule.

Titans face challenging 2026 schedule full of tests

Lake Oconee Academy’s 2026 football schedule will feature plenty of tests, including several teams with recent playoff success, a rivalry matchup, and a new GHSA playoff format that gives the Titans another path toward the postseason.

LOA football racks up postseason awards

The Lake Oconee Academy football team recently had several players earn postseason honors.The Titans had 12 players named to the Class A Division II Region 8 All-Region team.LOA head coach Patrick Stewart said he was proud of those players.

Screaming Devils win defensive battle over LOA

Warren County defeated Lake Oconee Academy in a low-scoring affair last Friday night in Greensboro.The Screaming Devils’ defense held the Titans to just 114 overall yards of total offense in the 16-7 win.

Lake Oconee Academy used its bye week to prepare for its upcoming region game at Washington-Wilkes.This Friday’s game between the Titans (2-4) and Tigers (2-4) will be the region opener for both.
