BREAKING: Savannah Court at Lake Oconee will remain open

In a ruling handed down Friday afternoon, Administrative Law Judge Charles R. Beaudrot determined that the Georgia Department of Community Affairs did not present enough evidence to warrant closing down Savannah Court at Lake Oconee senior care center in Greensboro.

Savannah Court fate in judge’s hands

Wrongful death lawsuit: Family of 86-year-old former patient claims she died of neglect

More problems have arisen for the beleaguered Savannah Court at Lake Oconee senior care home. A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against the facility on Willow Run Road in Greensboro.

Savannah Court fate delayed, again

Families of residents at Savannah Court of Lake Oconee will have to wait at least another two months to find out if the senior care facility on Willow Road in Greensboro will be closed by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH).

Savannah Court’s future still in limbo after hearing

The State of Georgia’s threat to revoke the permit of Savannah Court of Lake Oconee personal care home in Greensboro is on hold for now, waiting for the continuation of an appeal hearing. The revocation order from the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) was issued Aug. 17, 2023.

State threatens to close personal care home
