The first came in a rezoning of 26-plus acres on Monticello Road (Ga. 16) across the road from Ingle’s grocery store.

Gators feast on Cougars with back-to-back wins

Gatewood baseball extended their winning streak to four last week. The Gators defeated Piedmont Academy 2-1 at home on March 14, and two days later, the Gators beat the Cougars 9-5 in Monticello.

Multi-county pursuit ends with arrest in Eatonton

A Greensboro woman was arrested on a laundry list of charges in Eatonton on March 12, following a police chase involving several law enforcement agencies at speeds approaching 100 mph.
