LOA stuns Skipstone Academy on the road

The Lake Oconee Academy football team recently went on the road and shocked one of the best teams in the GAPPS association. The Titans defeated the Warriors of Skipstone Academy 44-34 last Friday and found most of their success on the ground against a team that thrives off its own rushing attack.

Titans trounce Towns County, pick up first win of season

The Lake Oconee Academy football team made a statement last Friday after winning its first game of the regular season in convincing fashion. The Titans easily defeated the Indians 27-0, earning them their third shutout victory in program history.

George Walton Academy defeated Lake Oconee Academy last week, blanking the Titans 14-0 in the season opener. The Bulldogs used their ground game to down the visiting Lake Oconee Academy for a second straight year.

Titans aim to be player-led team this season

After a promising season in 2022, the Lake Oconee Academy football program ramped up its offseason workouts this past summer in order to raise the team’s expectations. LOA second-year head coach Patrick Stewart wants the Titans to come into the regular season playing physical football.

Titans building confidence as a young program

The Lake Oconee Academy football program is heading into its second season under head coach Patrick Stewart and third overall. The Titans have made steady progress since their start in 2021.

Titans top Lions in fall scrimmage

The Lake Oconee Academy football team hosted Lakeview Academy in the Titans’ fall scrimmage game last Friday night. The Titans played well under second-year head coach Patrick Stewart, outscoring the Lions 14-7 through four quarters.
