NHN announces Ace Home Center partnership

Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Inc. (NHN) announced last week a new partnership with Social Circle Ace Home Center to serve as the exclusive lumber provider to NHN’s Beds for Kidz program.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors joins Greene Chamber

Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) is a Greensboro-based nonprofit that assists individuals and families in need throughout Greene and Putnam counties. The organization has been actively serving the area for five years and recently became a member of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce (GCCOC).

Greensboro hosts Mayor’s Gala to benefit nonprofits

Greensboro Mayor Corey Williams and his wife hosted the inaugural Mayor’s Gala Saturday evening at Festival Hall.This black-tie event was an evening affair celebrating community, philanthropy, and sophistication. It benefitted the Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

NHN ‘Songwriters Night’ helps build more beds

More than 600 people attended “A Songwriters’ Night” at Briar Patch Farm on April 20. The event benefitted the local non-profit organization Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN), which raised thousands of dollars to continue its mission in Greene and Putnam counties.

NHN receives $10,000 donation

Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN), a non-profit organization serving Putnam and Greene Counties, celebrated its success during the past three years with music, money, and memories at its semi-annual membership meeting in November.

Local contractor critical to NHN success stories

It’s hard to imagine. When Eric Thompkins’ backyard well pump failed, he had to carry three, five-gallon barrels of water from his nearby mother’s home just so he could bathe, flush his toilets, and have water to drink. Thompkins has multiple sclerosis and lives alone in his Putnam County home.
