Madison hosts Vote Your Values Festival

Madison’s Town Park hosted the Vote Your Values Festival on Oct. 26, the last Saturday to vote in the 2024 election.According to a press release announcing the event, voters could stroll to the poll with the festival’s fitness team or catch a ride on the “Votemobile” shuttle.

Another RaceTrac coming to Lake Country

A new RaceTrac opened in Greensboro in August, and it appears Madison will follow suit in a year or so.On Oct. 14, the Madison City Council approved a map amendment and a zoning variance that will allow for a new RaceTrac travel center on the east side of Hwy. 441, just south of I-20.
