Lake Oconee Academy’s basketball team fell one game shy of making the GHSA Class A Division II state playoffs. The Titans finished the season 8-19 overall and 4-10 in region play.

Lake Oconee Academy got its second region victory of the season last week with a win over Aquinas. The Titans routed the Fighting Irish 58-31 on Saturday and snapped a four-game losing skid.

Lake Oconee Academy traveled to Tennessee last week to play in a holiday tournament. The Titans played in the Great Smoky Mountain Classic in Gatlinburg, TN., from Dec. 27-Dec. 29.
