Bank building purchase puts city on defense

A Greensboro real estate investor and resident have made her concern heard about an earlier purchase by the city of Greensboro. Maria Wayne inquired about the status of the former BB&T branch that has sat vacant since its purchase by the city in October of 2018.

42-acre annexation tabled until zoning review

A 42-acre parcel south of I-20 and part of a proposed mixed-use development encompassing over 175 acres was denied annexation at its initial request to Greensboro City Council on Monday.

Lister announces bid for newly open seat on Greensboro council

A Greensboro City Council seat has opened up with the resignation of Tony Roland, who just won the position in the last election. Jeff Lister, a Greensboro resident since 2019, is throwing his name into the ring for a special called election to be held later in November.
