Habitat breaks ground on Baynes Creek Development

Greene County Habitat for Humanity broke ground in Greensboro on Oct. 16 on its Baynes Creek subdivision. The ceremony took place at 1310 Oconee Ave. to mark the beginning of construction for the mixed-income housing development.

Greene, Putnam Habitat mourn Carter’s death

Greene County Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity Putnam County join the world in mourning the death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and join observances worldwide to remember his life of service. He and Rosalynn Carter were among Habitat for Humanity’s most famous volunteers.
