Tigers face Twiggs County on the road

Greene County (1-0) will travel to Jeffersonville on Friday for a road game against Twiggs County (0-1).The Tigers are coming off a 28-20 win over rival Putnam County. On the other hand, Treutlen gave the Cobras a 40-0 loss after a disastrous 0-9 finish in 2023 under former coach Patrick Wray.

Tigers, War Eagles renew rivalry

This Friday, the Greene County-Putnam County football rivalry will be renewed for the first time in five years.The teams scrimmaged each other the past two seasons, but the result will count this Friday.

Greene County to face tough test in scrimmage

Greene County will play a preseason scrimmage against Northeast (Macon) on Friday night before its season opener next week. The Tigers will face a talented Raiders squad that went 8-3 overall last year in Class A Division I.

Greene County Tigers wrap up spring practice

After one of its best years in recent memory, Greene County entered spring practice with the bar set high.The Tigers went 10-2 overall last year in head coach Terrance Banks’ second season. They made it to the second round of the Georgia High School Association’s Class A Division II state playoffs.
