The Greene County Board of Commissioners has announced that it will hold special meetings on Friday, July 26, and Monday, July 29, both at 8 a.m. The meetings are open to the public and will be held at the BOC Conference Room (Suite 201) at 1034 Silver Dr. in Greensboro.

Commissioners cut millage rate for Greene County property owners

Greene County continues to grow, and with that comes more revenue to pay for the county’s operational and infrastructure costs.

County presents strategic plan before final adoption

There was a large community turnout to review the initial comprehensive strategic plan for Greene County.
Held last week, more than 50 county residents came to hear and see planning boards that outline supportive measures and to understand the plans underway.
