Bulldogs clinch SEC East with W over Miss State

Top-ranked Georgia checked off another box Saturday on its list of goals this season: clinch the SEC East. The Bulldogs traveled to Starkville to take on Mississippi State and came away with a 45-19 win.

Bulldogs prepare for second consecutive road game

After traveling to Starkville to defeat Mississippi State 45-19 last Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs (10-0, 7-0) will have to head back on the road to take on the Kentucky Wildcats (6-4, 3-4) this weekend.

Georgia’s defense rises to the occasion against Tennessee

Tennessee entered Saturday’s matchup against Georgia ranked No. 1 nationally in scoring offense (49.4 points per game) and total offense (530.1 yards per game).

Bulldogs’ Bowers praised following Florida win

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers had a career day last week against Florida. The sophomore pass-catcher hauled in five receptions for a career-high 154 yards and a TD on Saturday in the top-ranked Bulldogs’ 42-20 win over the Gators.

No. 1 Bulldogs turn focus to Florida

No. 1 Georgia had a bye last week ahead of its upcoming matchup with Florida. “It’s another exciting matchup with these guys in Jacksonville. I have a lot of respect for [head coach] Billy [Napier]. I’ve known him for a long time.

Georgia offense overpowers Vanderbilt

No. 1 Georgia had no problem moving the ball against Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Bulldogs compiled a season-high 579 yards of total offense— including 295 yards in the first half alone—en route to a 55-0 victory over the Commodores. Georgia scored on four of their five drives in the first half.

Bulldogs focus on improvement for bye week

Georgia has been a model of consistency under head coach Kirby Smart since he arrived on campus almost seven years ago. Still, even as the Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 nationally and remain undefeated after seven games this season, he knows his squad can improve.

Bulldogs to host Commodores after reclaiming No. 1

ATHENS -- A combination of a dominant Georgia performance against the Auburn Tigers and a host of other underwhelming games around college football last Saturday propelled the Bulldogs back to being the top-ranked team in the country.
