Hooks wins Republican nomination for sheriff; Blanton defeats Broadbent in Greene

Former Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tyler Hooks has defeated Captain Joseph Pritchett of the Morgan County’s Sheriff’s Office for the Republican nomination on the ticket in the General Election this November.Hooks will face Democrat Derrick Reid, who ran unopposed in the primary.
