Bulldogs knock off No. 7 Monroe Area

Morgan County (4-1) upset Class 3A’s No. 7 Monroe Area 35-17 this past Friday in a non-region game. The win was special for the Bulldogs, who had not beaten the Purple Hurricanes since 2019. Now, after consecutive top-10 wins, Morgan is up to the No. 7 spot in Class 3A rankings this week.

Bulldogs hold off Hebron Christian, pick up 500th win

Morgan County (3-1) held off a late push by Hebron Christian (3-1) on Friday night at Bill Corry Stadium to secure a 26-14 victory, which marked the football program’s 500th win. Morgan County became the state’s 48th program to reach 500 wins after defeating the Lions.

Strickland, Bulldogs bounce back against Hurricanes

Morgan County sophomore quarterback Davis Strickland accounted for three total touchdowns, with two through the air and one on the ground, as the Bulldogs defeated Jasper County 35-0 on Friday. It was a much-needed win after Morgan County (2-1) lost to rival Greene County 24-14 in Week 2.

Tigers top Bulldogs, snap losing streak

The Greene County football team has started the 2023 season out well, with its most recent success coming against the Morgan County Bulldogs. The Tigers hosted head coach Clint Jenkins and company at Tiger Stadium for both teams’ second game of the year and walked away with a 24-14 victory.

‘Dogs rout Social Circle in season opener

Morgan County football opened up its season with a dominant win over Social Circle this past Friday.The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and never let the Redskins even come close, convincingly winning 41-7.
