Bulldogs roll past Madison County in season opener

Morgan County wasted little time making a statement in its 2026 season opener.The Bulldogs (1-0) defeated Madison County 28-13 on Aug. 21 at home, using a balanced offense and a strong defense to build an early lead and withstand a second-half push from the Red Raiders.

Morgan County enters new era after historic 2025 season

The 2025 season was one to remember for the Morgan County Bulldogs, who captured a region championship, reached the GHSA quarterfinals and completed the program’s first undefeated regular season in more than 50 years.Their historic run ended Nov. 28 with a 34-22 home loss to Hapeville Charter.

Morgan County is headed back to the Class 2A quarterfinals for a second straight season.The No. 4 seed Dogs triumphed over No. 13 Miller Grove 49-28 on Nov. 21 to advance.“I’m just really proud of our guys,” Morgan County head coach Clint Jenkins said after the game.
