VOLLEYBALL: Lady Titans eliminated in first round of playoffs

Lake Oconee Academy entered the state playoffs as the No. 3 seed from Area 5, but the Lady Titans got a tough first-round draw with No. 2 seed Mt. Pisgah Christian. The Lady Patriots ended their season last week, defeating the Lady Titans in straight sets.

VOLLEYBALL: LOA prepares for season

The Lake Oconee Academy volleyball team is finishing up its offseason in preparation for the 2022 season. LOA head coach Chris Ingle always has high hopes of entering every season and says this one will be no different, even though the Titans find themselves in a new area this year.

VOLLEYBALL: Camp sets up successful summer for Lady Titans

The Lake Oconee Academy volleyball program held an all-day camp this week. The camp consists of multiple drills being taught to better develop aspects of the game such as serving, setting and spiking.

LOA remembers former student Spencer Bradley

Lake Oconee Academy held a service on Friday night at Tucker Field to remember former student Spencer Bradley, who tragically passed away last week. He was a soccer player for the Titans and was a member of the class of 2021.

Baxley leaving LOA for new position

Lake Oconee Academy girls’ soccer coach Jacob Baxley recently announced that he has taken another job at Clarke Central High School in Athens. He will be the new CCHS girls’ soccer coach and will also be teaching at the school in the fall.
