Airabella developer shares update

Airabella Lake Oconee partner Kevin Bryant and project manager Abby Port shared an update on the “live-work-play” development during the Greene County Development Authority’s Nov. 12 meeting.Bryant and Port said the site plan is developing, and dirt has started moving.
Tentative approval was given for 81 single-family home lots on 66.69 acres. The preliminary plat has been reviewed and complies with the county’s code and the Georgia Plat Act. CONTRIBUTED

County gives tentative OK to second phase of Airabella

Closely watched by both the county and area residents, Airabella, a 137-acre development, received tentative approval for its second phase of development at last week’s county commissioners' meeting.

Mixed-use development halted for legal review

A new residential, mixed-use development proposed for 137 acres near the busy intersection of Linger Longer Road and Lake Oconee Parkway is now on hold for legal review by both the developer, Red Clay Development LLC, and attorneys for the county.
