Dogs use 7-on-7 camp to evaluate depth, personnel

Morgan County took part in the Athens Academy 7-on-7 camp last week, using the competitive setting to get an early look at its roster and gather valuable teaching points for the upcoming season.The camp at Athens was the first of several team activities the Bulldogs have planned for the summer.

Lady Gators aim to build toward future in offseason

Dawgs punch ticket to Super Regionals

ATHENS — Georgia once again proved why it was one of the nation’s top teams.The No. 3 national seed Bulldogs rolled through the NCAA Athens Regional baseball tournament this past weekend with three consecutive victories, outscoring opponents 30-5 and earning a spot in the Super Regional round.

Brown returns home to help lead Lady Dogs

Morgan County is bringing one of its own back home.Former Lady Bulldog standout Alexis Brown has been named co-head coach of the Morgan County girls basketball team, joining Cody Anderson in a unique leadership arrangement designed to build on the program’s recent success.

Gators win program’s fifth state title
