    The Lake Oconee Wild Things baseball program is nearing the conclusion of its second season in Greensboro. The Sunbelt League summer collegiate team resumed competition at Lake Oconee Academy in late May, and most recently made its first playoff appearance since transferring under new ownership in early 2025.
