Lady Titans seek playoff payback

Lake Oconee Academy girls’ soccer has wrapped up its regular season and now has shifted its focus toward the postseason. The Lady Titans finished the regular season with a 7-5-2 overall record and a solid 5-1 mark in region play.

Titans poised for state title push

The 2024 regular season for Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) boys’ soccer team has come to a close.The Titans finished with an overall 12-2-1 record and 5-1 in region play, and now feel ready to make a run at hoisting a state championship.

Gatewood introduces new girls’ basketball coach

Gatewood recently announced its new girls’ head basketball coach in the promotion of assistant coach Ferdinand Farley Jr.Farley replaces Jordan Walters, who recently stepped down after serving as head coach for the past six seasons.

Gatewood golf wins region, eyes state title

The Gatewood golf team returned to glory as it captured the region championship earlier this month.Five golfers – Gavin Gignilliat, Lathan Hillin, Ames Johnson, Mikey Padula, and Sean Harvey – combined for a winning score of 318. The championship capped off a great regular season for the Gators.

Gators' winning streak comes to an end

The Gatewood Gators’ win streak came to an end on the diamond last week as they dropped their Friday matchup against The Heritage School 5-4 in Newnan.But the following day brought new life for the Gators, who beat Bethlehem Christian 3-2 in Eatonton.
