The Gatewood Gators (3-4, 2-0) continued their midseason resurgence Friday night in Louisville, where they earned a decisive 34–18 road victory over Thomas Jefferson Academy (1-7, 0-3).

Dogs weather storm against Hurricanes, improve to 7-0

Morgan County brought the heat in its road matchup against Rutland on Oct. 3.The Dogs dominated the Hurricanes 60-27, improving to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the region.Morgan County head coach Clint Jenkins thought his offense was successful in moving the football down the field.

Spike Dogs dominate path to win region title

Morgan County’s volleyball team will head into the Class 2A state playoffs next week in a good spot.The Spike Dogs recently wrapped up the regular season with a 27-12 overall record and won the region championship with a perfect 5-0 mark.

Mistakes plague Dawgs against Crimson Tide

Georgia made too many mistakes to bounce back from, and its comeback attempt fell short in a 24-21 loss to Alabama last Saturday night at Sanford Stadium.The Bulldogs struggled early, both offensively and defensively, allowing No. 17 Crimson Tide to capitalize on their mistakes.

Dogs spank Seminoles in region opener

Morgan County continues to dominate under Friday night lights and shows no signs of backing down anytime soon.The Dogs (6-0) defeated Westside of Macon 56-14 at home on Sept. 26, claiming their first region victory.
