Late goal pushes Titans past Indians

The Lake Oconee Academy Titans surged past the Armuchee Indians in the first round of the GHSA Class-A soccer playoffs last Wednesday. Titans senior Kyle Beasley scored the lone goal of the game, coming in the midway point of the second half.

Putnam girls win first-round thriller

A soccer match does not get any more intense and can’t be any closer than the hard fought first round matchup between Putnam County and Bacon County on April 14, but the Lady War Eagles found a way to win despite a determined Bacon County side.
