LOA stuns Skipstone Academy on the road

The Lake Oconee Academy football team recently went on the road and shocked one of the best teams in the GAPPS association. The Titans defeated the Warriors of Skipstone Academy 44-34 last Friday and found most of their success on the ground against a team that thrives off its own rushing attack.

Bulldogs recover from slow start to beat UT-Martin

Top-ranked Georgia’s season-opening 48-7 victory over UT-Martin on Saturday had its highs and lows. The Bulldogs struggled out of the gate offensively but overcame the slow start to put up 41 points, with their final touchdown coming from the defense on a pick-six late in the fourth quarter.

Georgia prepares for Ball State

Georgia (1-0) will host Ball State (0-1) for its second game of the 2023 season on Saturday. The Bulldogs come off a 48-7 win over UT-Martin while the Cardinals lost to Kentucky 44-14 in the opening weekend of the season.

Tigers top Bulldogs, snap losing streak

The Greene County football team has started the 2023 season out well, with its most recent success coming against the Morgan County Bulldogs. The Tigers hosted head coach Clint Jenkins and company at Tiger Stadium for both teams’ second game of the year and walked away with a 24-14 victory.

Titans trounce Towns County, pick up first win of season

The Lake Oconee Academy football team made a statement last Friday after winning its first game of the regular season in convincing fashion. The Titans easily defeated the Indians 27-0, earning them their third shutout victory in program history.
