Morgan County boys basketball senior Marquavious Brown recently signed a letter of intent to continue his hoops career at North Carolina A&T.

Brown, who is originally from Madison, attended Newton County High School until the start of the 2022-23 academic school year, but he transferred to Morgan County just before the start of basketball season in October.

He led the Bulldogs in most statistical categories before suffering a season-ending injury following their win over rival Putnam County on Dec. 10, 2022. However, Brown was able to commit to North Carolina A&T and sign with the Aggies on Wednesday, April 13.
