    After reaching the Elite Eight for the second consecutive year, the No. 5 seed Morgan County girls' basketball team took another step forward on Tuesday, defeating No. 20 Carver (Columbus) at home to advance.

    The Lady Dogs toppled the Lady Tigers 58-33 to advance to the Class 2A Final Four.
