Graveside Services for Mr. William Byron Hull Sr., age 84, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at Lineville City Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Dr.
Thomas Reeves Smith officiating.
William Byron Hull, formerly of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away in Charleston, South Carolina, on Oct. 19th, 2024.
He was born in Anniston, Alabama, and grew up in Lineville, Alabama. His parents, James Byron Hull and Kathryn Carpenter Hull, both of Lineville, preceded him in death.
Bill graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management and served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Randolph aircraft carrier during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He started his railroad career with Southern Railway, which later became Norfolk Southern.
Mr. Hull is survived by his wife of 58 years, Louise Hull; two children, Bill Hull Jr. (Tracy) and Wyndy Carnell (Clint), both of Kiawah Island, South Carolina; and four adored grandchildren, Kathryn Hull and Brett Hull, Andi Carnell, and Keegan Carnell.
