On Sunday morning, March 20, 2022, Arne Christian Lassen went home peacefully in the arms of the Lord. His legacy will never be forgotten, as he lived a life most can only dream of.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 5 pm at Briarpatch Farm in Eatonton, GA.
Arne was born in Tureby, Denmark. At the age of 26 and with only a few bucks in his pocket, Arne landed in Atlanta, GA. He arrived with a 7th grade education and a heart full of dreams. He was extremely passionate about hunting and hunted the world over. Arne was also an avid golfer. He was incredibly giving and unselfish about helping others if he had the means to do so. For the past 37 years Arne has been married to the love of his life, Sandy Lassen. Together Arne and Sandy led an adventure filled life. They travelled the world and made many friends along the way. Arne was the true embodiment of the American Dream.
Arne is survived by his wife, Sandy Lassen; son Michael Lassen (Kay), son Marc Lassen (Jennifer), and daughter Christi Lassen; grandchildren Alex, Tyson and Lexi (Michael) and Tyler and Arne (Marc). He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Kirsten, his older brother (Frede) and older sister Jytte.
