GREENE COUNTY
The local Pete Nance Boys and Girls Club of Greensboro is holding its major fund-raising event again this year on Oct. 14 at Bend The Trend at 2101 Reynolds Walk Trail.
An “Evening With Art” continues to be the area’s most popular event featuring select art from the South’s most leading contemporary artists and offers one of a kind paintings.
Attendees will be able to view and purchase art from more than 30 artists signed up for the event. Acrylics, oils, and watercolor paintings will adorn the event venue.
This marks the third year the club has put on the event and supports the children who attend the club every day.
The club facility has grown every year through the generous support of the Greensboro community. The club offers a Learning Center, early childhood education, web-based learning for language arts and math, mentoring programs, child care, and much more.
The club’s director is Stacey McClendon.
Tickets can be purchased at www. bgcncg.com/eveningwithart or by calling 706-920-1400.
