The Plaza launches 15 for 15 fundraiser

PUTNAM COUNTY

The Plaza Arts Center is now in its 15th year providing a top-notch entertainment and event space to Eatonton and all its surrounding communities.

After starting out in 2008 as nothing but a concept – a thought, a dream – The Plaza now represents a place of community, creativity, and history for the Lake Country.

Entering into this landmark year, The Plaza has a wide variety of events and performances planned. Each month, something big is happening at The Plaza, whether it’s a concert, play, or community presentation. There’s just no question that 2023 will be a bigger and better year than ever before.

And as always, youth education remains right at the forefront of The Plaza’s mission. To achieve bringing arts education to area youth, we are asking for your help.

The Plaza is asking the community to be part of our 15 for 15 campaign. For just $15 a month pledged for 15 months, you can make a huge impact on what The Plaza does. Just $15 is snacks for our After School Arts program; $15 is a prop for a play; $15 is crayons for a group of school kids coming to create; $15 allows a kid to come to see a performance during a field trip.

In other words, $15 can do a lot of things at The Plaza. $15 adds up. $15 can make a difference.

And when an entire community comes together? It all adds up to even more. Just like the community did back in ’08 to get The Plaza going, we are asking you to band together again to make a difference in the 2023 fundraising year.

In order to sign up for The Plaza’s 15 for 15 campaign please visit plazacenter.org and go to the donations page. Enter $15 for the amount and sign up for a ‘recurring monthly donation.’

This will have your $15 charge for 15 months. If you prefer not to have your card charged each month, you also may enter a lump sum simply by entering $225 for your donation amount and choosing the 15 for 15 campaign.
