Lake Oconee Elks host fish fry for veterans

  • Members of Lake Oconee Elks Lodge 2849 visited the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville Sept. 22, where they hosted a fish fry for residents there. The Elks served up hand-breaded catfish, fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw, with everyone also enjoying ice cream for dessert. CONTRIBUTED
