A popular Madison eatery is temporarily closed following a kitchen fire that occurred Nov. 1, according to a report.
Ricardo’s Kouzzina on West Washington Street in the old Ice House building sustained damage to floors and kitchen equipment after a gas hose caught fire. A sprinkler system kicked and helped douse the fire but also cause water damage.
Ricardo Casillas, the owner of the restaurant told local news outlets that he hopes to reopen by Nov. 17 as contractors work to repair damage and replace equipment.
