Putnam County’s popular Oconee Springs Park was a busy place as local residents and guests enjoyed the lakeside facility over a long Labor Day weekend.
Whether enjoying water activities or relaxing on the beach, playing group games or casting a fishing rod alone, every guest found fun or relaxing pastime to suit his or her taste.
Oconee Springs Park features 41 campsites and eight cabins for rent, a full marina, a beach area equipped with a volleyball court, a playground for children, kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boats available for rent, as well as tents, beach umbrellas and three new cabanas. And, of course, always the kids’ favorites—the inflatables—are anchored in the water throughout the summer months.
