Danielsville, Ga. — The Morgan County football team visited Madison County for a camp last week.
The Bulldogs wrapped up the month of June by going head-to-head against the Red Raiders in 7-on-7 competition.
The two squads started out by doing individual drills together but then split up into junior varsity and varsity groups on opposite ends of the field, which is when the real competition started.
Morgan County’s passing game was on full display as Talan Fuller and Ike O’Neal split reps at quarterback. Both signal-callers took snaps in the shotgun formation and under center.
Both Fuller and O’ Neal had an array of weapons to pass to out of the backfield, including running back Jaydon Dorsey, wide receiver TJ Thompson and tight end Antavious Elder. The duo also completed attempts to a variety of other pass catchers.
The GHSA has a mandated dead week to start the month of July, so the Bulldogs will be off. However, they are slated to start summer workouts back up again next week.
