MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
A Morgan County deputy was dispatched to the Valero Station on Newborn Road April 27 in reference to glass break alarm. The possible burglary is under investigation.
Taylor Lee McCravy, 29, of Mableton was arrested April 30 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drugrelated objects, possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, DUI (drugs), reckless driving and following too closely.
Chad Aaron Youngblood, 35, of Madison was arrested May 1 and charged with DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Morgan County deputies responded to a vehicle fire on Dixie Highway May 1. Upon arrival they found a pickup truck completely engulfed in flames. Occupants of the vehicle said the dash had begun to smoke before going up in flames. The occupants were able to get out of the vehicle safely. Morgan County Fire and Rescue arrived and put out the fire.
Morgan County deputies responded to a Centennial Road address in reference to property damage complaints. Complainants said a white F-250 Ford truck ran over two mailboxes. Damage was estimated at $300.
MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT
On April 27, a complaint was filed with the Madison Police Department regarding damage to a vehicle. The complainant said debris thrown by a lawn mower being operated by a City of Madison employee caused damage to his door.
Police responded to the Exxon on Monticello Road April 25 regarding a damage to property complaint. According to the report, a customer said she pumped gas and forgot to take the hose out of her truck before driving off, pulling the hose off the gas pump.
Robert James Higgins, 62 of Atlanta was arrested April 24 and charged with theft by shoplifting.
Jack Anthony Carroll, 38, of North Augusta was arrested April 23 and charged with battery/ simple battery under the family violence statute. According to the report, Carroll struck his son.

Derrick Deon Stodghill, 46, of Covington was arrested April 26 and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Johnny Barnes, 70, of White Plains was arrested April 30 and charged with disorderly conduct (public intoxication).
Gregory Dunn, 59, of Union Point was arrested April 30 and charged with simple battery.
Nancy Delores Rajner, 53, of Greensboro was arrested May 1 on a probation violation warrant out of Putnam County.
GREENSBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
On Sunday, April 24, while patrolling the area of East Broad Street officers were flagged down by an individual who wanted to report a terroristic threat. The complainant stated that a male entered the store and threatened to kill him. The complainant was advised of the TPO process and was advised that extra patrol would be done in the area
On Sunday, April 24, officers responded to the area of Adrian Circle in reference to a child being hit by a parent. The incident was turned over to investigations.
On Monday, April 25, officers responded to the area of South Main Street in reference to a criminal damage to property complaint. The complainant stated that her car was damaged while she was parked at work.
On Monday, April 25, officers responded to the area of Planning Mill Road in reference to a dog complaint. The complainant stated that the neighbor’s dog kept coming in her yard being aggressive. Officers spoke with the neighbor and advised him that the dog would need to be on a chain/leash. The neighbor then complained about the complainant’s cats on his vehicle. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other and keep their pets on their property.
On Tuesday, April 26, officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Pool Road on a vehicle in violation of a tag light requirement. After further investigation, the passenger, Coureyon Ty’Javious Woods, 19, of Greensboro was arrested after a brief foot chase. Woods was charged with obstruction of law enforcement and possession of a concealed weapon.
On Tuesday, April 26, officers responded to the area of Heritage Drive in reference to a verbal dispute. Officers spoke with both parties and advised them to separate to avoid further arguments.
On Tuesday April 26, officers responded to GPD in reference to a citizen’s complaint. The complainant stated that an individual that she had a previous incident with called her a derogatory name when she was walking in the grocery store. The complainant was advised of the TPO process.
On Tuesday, April 26, officers responded to the area of North Main Street in reference to a criminal trespassing complaint. The complainant stated that a van was parking on the property, going through cars and leaving trash on the property. Officers made contact with the individuals, Ludwick Mitchell Jr., 59, of Greensboro and Kerri Ann Roberts, 53, of Greensboro. Mitchell and Roberts where both arrested and transported to the Greene County LEC where they were booked on the charges of criminal trespassing. Mitchell and Roberts were both issued criminal trespassing warnings for the property of 103 South Main Street, Greensboro.
On Saturday, April 30, officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Oconee Avenue on a vehicle in violation of a tag light requirement. After further investigation, the driver, Chyna Xorieon Colon, 21, of Greensboro and the passenger Rakerria Deonna Miller, 22, of Greensboro were arrested. Colon was booked on the charges of a tag light requirement, driving while license expired, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of MDMA (Ecstasy). Miller was booked on charges of possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of MDMA (Ecstasy).
On Saturday, April 30, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain lane in the area of South Walnut Street. After further investigation, Clemente Morales-Flores, 27, was arrested on charges of failure to maintain lane, open container violation, driving without license and driving under the influence of alcohol.
On Saturday, April 30, officers responded to the area of South Main Street in reference to a civil matter. The complainant stated that Pizza Hut did not give her a refund on food she returned. Both parties were advised that the issue would need to be handled in Magistrate Court.
On Saturday, April 30, officers responded to the area of East South Street in reference to a citizen’s complaint. The complainant stated that three individuals followed him from Home Depot and the Oconee Beverages package store. The complainant was advised to call 911 if he saw the individuals again.
On Saturday, April 30, officers responded to the area of South Main Street in reference to a theft by taking. The complainant stated that the register was short $250, and he did not want to pursue charges at this time.
On Saturday, April 30, while patrolling the area of East Broad Street, officers were flagged down by an individual in reference to a civil matter. The complainant stated that he did not want to pay for food he did not consume due to the order not being correct. After further investigation, the customer agreed to pay for the food that was eaten, and the owner of the restaurant requested to have the guest criminally trespassed. Steven Deron Williams, 38, and Tersondra Bustion, 38, of Greensboro were issued criminal trespassing warnings for the property of Los Torres -117 East Broad Steet, Greensboro.
On Saturday, April 30, officers responded to the area of Allens Circle in reference to a stove on fire. The incident was turned over to the Greensboro Fire Department.
For the week of April 24-30, the Greensboro Police Department responded to two accidents, and 48 citations were issued.
