Two adults, one juvenile nabbed for home invasion

Two adults and one juvenile have been arrested after what the Greensboro Police Department described as a home invasion in the Mill Town area on April 17.

According to the Greensboro Police, several men with guns kicked in the door of the residence and came inside.

Once inside the intruders pointed guns at the residents and demanded money.

A victim said the intruders took a total of $640 before they fled the scene.

The Greensboro Police caught up with the robbers, however, and made three arrests in the days following the home invasion.

According to Chief Rodricus Monford, GPD assistant chief Captain Tommy Nelson and Sgt. Perkins led a hard-nosed investigation into the home invasion and dug up evidence that has so far led to three arrests.

Lokari Boyd, 18, of Greensboro and Hakeem Jeremiah Neal, 17, of Union Point were charged with home invasion and armed robbery. A 16-year-old juvenile was also charged in the incident.

Chief Monford said that the investigation is still ongoing and that more charges could be filed and more arrests could be made as investigators probe the evidence.
