Task force formed to work between Harbor Club, residents

A task force was formed last year to better support and inform homeowners at Harbor Club as they tackle several issues with the ultimate goal of taking over the Property Owners Association (POA).  Harbor Club is one of the primary gated communities at Lake Oconee with more than 800 homes.

MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE Warrants were issued for the arrest of Jeffery Mark Mitchem, 38, of Madison on charges of battery under the family violence statute, cruelty to children, obstruction of persons making an emergency call, and criminal trespass on Feb. 1.

The Georgia House Appropriations Committee approved Gov. Brian Kemp’s $37.5 billion fiscal 2024 midyear budget Tuesday. With the state sitting on an unprecedented $16 billion surplus, lawmakers signed off on a $5 billion spending increase, 15.

Families of residents at Savannah Court of Lake Oconee will have to wait at least another two months to find out if the senior care facility on Willow Road in Greensboro will be closed by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH).
