Two men caught with stolen car and trailer

On Nov. 18, a Greene County deputy arrested two men on multiple charges after his preliminary investigation revealed that neither of them owned the truck they were driving, the trailer they were pulling, or the car on the trailer.Dion Roy Evans, 30, of 1597 Terry Mill Rd.

Rivian lands federal loan to restart EV plant

A nearly $6 billion federal loan will help electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian restart construction of a $5 billion vehicle and battery plant near Covington, U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., announced Tuesday.When it was announced in late 2021, the project was expected to create 7,500 jobs.
