Macon suspects arrested for theft, racketeering

Four Macon people are being held without bond in jail at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office because they “picked the wrong town.” The four are accused of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of items from the Eatonton Walmart using some creative means, according to authorities.

Lake Oconee Dentistry celebrates 24 years of business

This year marks the 24th anniversary of Lake Oconee Dentistry. Owned and operated by Drs. David and Patti Bradley, the practice provides standard preventative maintenance exams and cleanings, as well as a variety of cosmetic and restorative dental enhancements.

Putnam County High School graduates receive diplomas

Putnam County High School honored a major academic stepping stone in students’ academic career May 27. This graduating class has been the most successful, receiving numerous scholarships as well as being the largest graduating percentage at 98.9%.

GCHS sends off class of 2022

Tiger Stadium was packed on Friday, May 27 for Greene County High School’s graduation ceremony. Family, friends and community members all gathered in the stands to watch the 81 graduates from GCHS walk across the stage and receive their diplomas.

MCHS graduates more than 200 students

Morgan County’s senior class of 209 students finally got to turn their tassels last Friday night and officially graduate from Morgan County High School. The ceremony was held under the lights of Bill Corry Stadium and marked a special milestone for everyone involved.
