Families 4 Families shares foster care information

Jodi York, a recruiter from the non-profit organization Families 4 Families (F4F), held an information session at Eatonton’s Crossroads Baptist Church March 19, for people interested in becoming foster parents.

Stop for seatbelt violation results in drug arrest

County presents strategic plan before final adoption

There was a large community turnout to review the initial comprehensive strategic plan for Greene County. Held last week, more than 50 county residents came to hear and see planning boards that outline supportive measures and to understand the plans underway.

PCSO, EPD combine efforts to stop drug sales

For the past several months, Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell and Putnam County Sheriff’s Lt. Harry Luke have been investigating drug sales in the city and some in the county. Five “street dealers” were arrested last week and warrants were issued for more, according to Luke.
