Tree removal from courthouse fuels speculation

A groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday marked the construction site for Greene County’s new elementary school, secured through a favorable result from last year’s ESPLOST vote.

Eatonton businesses celebrate simultaneous grand openings

The parking lot was full July 14, alongside Scott Road in Eatonton near Lake Oconee as two stores – The Boat Shop and Ride – joined forces in presenting the Boats, Bikes and Beer Block Party to celebrate joint grand openings.

Greensboro’s newest event venue opens on Main Street

Despite many brides-to-be wanting traditional weddings in churches, the times have changed, and many are now opting to book special venues to celebrate the day. A new one, The Palms on Main, is located in the former Dream Catchers and Lake and Local store on 104 S. Main St.
