Madison man arrested following threats of violence

A Madison resident has been arrested on several charges after he allegedly threatened to kill customers on Aug. 23 at a Madison Waffle House. Larry D. Smith, 65, faces two counts of obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers and making terroristic threats and acts.

Camp returning home to play against Bulldogs

Former Morgan County quarterback Cal Camp will live out his dream on Saturday by playing a game at Sanford Stadium, but he will be competing against top-ranked Georgia as an opponent. Camp, a Madison native, plays for the UT-Martin Skyhawks, who the Bulldogs will host on Saturday.

BOE hears updates to safety, new school; approves budget
