Though it’s been in use since school resumed Aug. 12, Gatewood Schools hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday night to officially open its new high school building.
Anchored by a large auditorium that doubles as a dedicated highschool lunchroom each school day, the new facility includes 13 classrooms, with two dedicated to science, a music room, and an arts facility.
