Lake Oconee Academy had 'Eyes on the Eclipse'

Lake Oconee Academy hosted an eclipse watch party for its students and their parents Monday at Tucker Field featuring refreshments and – of course – a partial solar eclipse last week.

Take a stroll through the streets of downtown Greensboro during Southland Jubilee this Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Since 1998, people from all over have gathered on the streets of Greensboro to participate in the fun, family-friendly event.

Classic Center Arena a major addition to Athens

The new Classic Center Arena, owned by Athens-Clarke County and currently being built on the University of Georgia campus, will set a new standard for local sports and performance venues once it’s completed in early October.
