Second Harvest will host its monthly food distribution on May 16 from 8–9 a.m., or until supplies run out, at First Methodist Church, Greensboro-Lake Oconee.
In addition, the Lake Oconee Humane Society will be on site to distribute pet food and supplies.
All community members in need are encouraged to attend, and volunteers are welcome to help assist with distribution efforts.
Second Harvest also extends a special thank-you to its Sponsor of the Month, the Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties, whose support helps make the monthly distribution possible.
The organization also recognizes its May BackPack Sponsors of the Month, Tim and EJ Evans, for helping ensure local elementary students have access to nutritious meals over the weekend.
