This year Mike Collins, Georgia’s 10th Congressional District Representative, announced Mary Claire McCommons as the recipient of an Honorable Mention in the 2023 Congressional Art Competition.
Claire, a sophomore at Lake Oconee Academy, submitted a color pencil and acrylic work, entitled “Elements of Baking.”
Claire was one of 31 high school students from the 10th Congressional District who participated in this year’s contest.
